Interactive CD has become a bit of a forgotten format since DVDs came along with their superior storage.
But, if your target audience is mainly computer-based, then you should seriously consider it.
Why? Because interactive CD is unbeatable when it comes to flexibility, and interaction with websites and e-mail. What's more, the picture size (1024 x768 pixels) compared to standard television (720 x 576) allows for more information on screen, which looks much sharper. And MPEG1 and other compatible encoded video can look pretty impressive. You might want to mull over the fact that CDs are still cheaper than DVDs too.
Not all computers are able to decode the DVD format, whereas almost every computer is able to read MPEG1, Windows Media Player, Real Media, Quicktime and FLV. If you're making a PowerPoint presentation, we can encode your video into any of these formats and offer some advice on which works best! Even better, our design people can help you wow your audience by creating the full presentation using Director software.
